College Students

The truth of a college student struggle to balance their school work with the demands of everyday life. It is a struggle when you're working and school. You have to work in your daily routines with your school work. It only gets harder when you also have children and a spouse. Like myself i have to balance my schedule with my kids schedule. I have to attend meeting at their schools, they have sports and dance practices. I also have to also help them with homework. I have to cook, clean and make sure they have everything they need. And when you have kids you have to wait til they are in the bed or school to get work done.

Best friend examples

Best friends are for when you want to grab a bite to eat and talk girl talk. Have a few drinks to catch up on old times. You can not have talked to your best friend in weeks but when you get together its like you have not missed a day talking to them. When your best friend just broke up with her boyfriend, she calls you to want to spill her heart out to you and you're there for a listening ear. You give her all the advice she needs and let her know its going to be ok. Best friends enjoy each other company, like going on mini trips, vacations, out to eat, out to a movie, shopping, take the kids out for a outting, and alot more.

Best Friend

A best friend is someone who is there to support you through any situation, they are a shoulder to cry on and listening ear, help you through hard times, celebrate you with your achievements, and always encourage you to do your best. A best friend is someone that you can trust. They will not judge you instead they will offer advice and support. Best friends are also reliable, honest, respectful and trustworthy. Best friends should be able to make each other laugh until you can not breath. Also someone that is going to defend you when you are not around. Best friends go out their way for the people they care about. Best friends have your back. They are always there by your side no matter what.

Kindness of a Stranger

The most kindness of a person I have ever seen is when me and my family was at a restaurant. It was me, my daughter and two sons. We were dining in eating some lunch. When we were done, I had went up to the cashier to pay for our ticket. And the waiter said no ma'am, a nice guy paid for your ticket already. You are good to go!! He said that the kids had touched his heart. I hate that i couldn't have thanked him for his kindness. We can not come across any kind many people now days. That was very kind of him to pay for our ticket. Because he didn't know us and we didn't know him. Just for a random kind person to bless you with a free meal is so kind. Its nice to know we still have some good people out here.

Peers revision

What i got out of the peer revision process is that we do help each other on our mistakes in our essays. And it was a big help to us all. We may have recognized errors that our peers didn't notice. I had learned to make my writing more exciting to get my audience attention. Its a great process because we helped each other in many ways and with different errors. Also when we read our papers out loud we can really hear how it sounds and do it flow right the way that we want. It will be more valuable to me because i will use this process more. I will encourage my friends, family and classmates to use this process for their essays and speeches.

Frustrating about writing

The most frustrating part about writing is that figuring out about what i'm going to write about. Write about what i'm going to say and how i'm going to say it. Wonder what order i'm going to put it in. But what i've learned to do is not think and just write. The main thing is to brainstorm and mapping it out after i've got a topic. Also developing enough ideas in my essay. Having my citation on point and in line. What i could do is do more than one draft til i get it right. Mainly putting my essay in my own words. Go to my resources and handouts that i received from my teacher.

Not famous but famous to me

She is not famous and is no longer with us today. But i hold her dearly and she's my mother. She was smart, caring, loving, teacher, loved children and her family. And was highly on a success on her education. She graduated from high school with a 4.0 GPA. Graduated from college with a 4.0 GPA and received a degree in Child Care Development. She inspire me so much. That's what makes me want to continue my education and succeed. Cause that's what she would want me to do. She reminds me of so much of myself. Very smart, love to help others, love working with children. Her job was working at the Darden Headstart with the special need children. Everyone loved working with her. She had that beautiful smile and everyone loved being around her. So i want to make her very proud. By continuing on with furthering my education and getting my degree in Medical Assistant.
